In the wake of growing competition within the Chinese domestic financial market and ever widening inter-connectivity between Chinese financialindustries and the global market, Beida Jade Bird International Education (BJBIE) is working closely with top Chinese financial institutions to design a set of customized education programs that prepare corporate executives to effectively embrace and capitalize on these new business dynamics.
Capping off a series of efforts to embark thisinitiative, Senior Management of Beida Jade Bird International Education met with SeniorAssociate Dean Dr. Paul Almeida from our long-term partner, The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, Mr. Sheldon Ray of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Senior Vice President of the U.S. Export-Import Bank,Mr.Kevin Varney to discuss potential opportunities to work together in the field of financial services education.
In this meeting, BJBIE approachedDr. Almeida toco-developa customized program with the business school for Chinese commercial banks that would include topics like: diversifying banks’ product portfolio, bank executive management and leadership, marketing for financial products and Change Management.
BJBIE Senior Management also discussed the idea of designing a tailored program for Chinese private wealth management institutions, which have significantlyincreased in number as the number of wealthy Chinese businesspeople has increased. BJBIE discussed this topic withMr. Sheldon Ray, Senior Portfolio Manager and International Wealth Specialist, whomanages global equity and fixed income portfolios for individuals and institutions. Mr. Sheldon considered this initiative very promising and will work closely with BJBIE to deliver a practice-driven program involving a list of high-caliber financial experts and professionals.
