Ladies and Gentleman, allow me to introduce Ms Zhang Jiayin, CEO of Beida Jade Bird International Education. When mentioning Beida Jade Bird International Education, people may have some questions. As everyone knows, Beida Jade Bird International Education focuses on training. Could you please give a brief introduction of the company?
Zhang Jiayin:
As everyone knows, Beida Jade Bird International Education is a leader in the IT education field in China. As a matter of fact, Beida Jade Bird Group has always had an extraordinary love for the education industry. In the education field, we provide products related to basic education, higher education and vocational education, and we are currently moving into international education. As With the backing of Peking University, we have a distinct advantage in the education industry.
Netease Education:
I would love to hear about the management mode Beida Jade Bird International Education has adopted. Could you please describe it?
Zhang Jiayin:
As you mentioned just now, Beida Jade Bird has made great achievements in IT education. We can also use our successful experiences in conducting international education. In the United States, we have established our own overseas education base of Beida Jade Bird and sent our students there. After they complete their schooling there, they will go to college. In China, we still adopt the franchising mode.
Netease Education:
This mode of studying overseas seems to be different from your competitors.
Zhang Jiayin:
You are right. This is also the mode of “Studying Abroad Swiftly” launched by Beida Jade Bird and the biggest difference between them lies in the preparation. For a traditional mode , you may need to learn language, and make preparations in terms of psychology and materials in China, which takes around a year. We adopt the mode of Studying Abroad Swiftly. Students go to the United States first through Beida Jade Bird and make a series of preparations, hence they become real American students.

What group of people does this mode target?
Zhang Jiayin:
I think it targets a large number of people, and can meet the demands of any student who wants to realize their dreams of studying abroad, no matter he or she wants to study as an undergraduate or as a graduate.
Netease Education:
Could you please give a brief introduction to the study fees for your program?
Zhang Jiayin:
As we provide long-term education services, I prefer not to introduce specific fee-related matters here.
Netease Education:
At present, people have put forward the concept of planning for studying abroad, and think it can’t be completed in a year and needs to be planned in advance. What’s your opinion of planning for studying abroad?
Zhang Jiayin:
As a matter of fact, I think it’s an inevitable trend in the current study abroad market. At the beginning, students tend to blindly choose famous universities, but well-known universities are not always the best choice. This market will gradually develop towards reasonable positioning. Beida Jade Bird International Education entered the market and put forward the mode of Studying Abroad Swiftly, in which students will make preparations in the United States and then make an occupational choice. This mode actually conforms to this kind of trend.
Netease Education:
If a student wants to study abroad through this method, how should he plan his study?
Zhang Jiayin:
In the traditional mode, the student may need to take examinations such as TOEFL or SAT, but now the student only needs to go through Beida Jade Bird to study at the overseas education base of Beida Jade Bird International Education, learn language, learn how to adapt to society there and how to improve his study ability, reading ability, research ability…. This may be a better choice for the student.

Since this can be deemed as a new model, have people welcomed it?
Zhang Jiayin:
In my opinion, it takes a little time for any new mode to be accepted by people. But this mode absolutely meets the needs of current consumer sector for the study abroad industry, and I definitely believe that it will be accepted by our client base.
Netease Education:
To my best knowledge, you have been working in Beida Jade Bird International Education for more than 10 years, and it’s seldom for someone working in an enterprise, or an institution for over ten years. For students who have a desire to study overseas, they have to think over their job and employment in the future. What’s your opinion of this?
Zhang Jiayin:
I work in education. The education industry is relatively special and people engaged in it can feel satisfied and honored, and no people in any other industry can have such a feeling. Maybe it’s just the reason why I have been engaged in this industry for so long. I think students should do what they really like and stick to their choices.
Netease Education:
Last but not the least, have you got any advice for students who want to study in the United States?
Zhang Jiayin:
Reasonable self-positioning is of the utmost importance.

Find out what they really want to do.
Zhang Jiayin:
Find the work most suitable for them.
