JBIEDU Representatives Visited George Washington University School of Business

Washington D.C- Beida Jade Bird International Education executives visited the School of Business at George Washington University on Thursday, June 16thand met with top officials from the school. Participants included Dean Doug Guthrie, Dr. ShyamGiridharadas, Executive Director of Executive Education, MrSanjayRupani, Chief Strategy Officer and Dr. Liesl Riddle, Associate Dean for MBA programs.
 
During the meeting, Mr. Xu Jing and Mr. Jim Burke from JBIEDUexchanged ideas with school officials on different areas of collaborations, including executive education, World Executive MBA, short-term faculty exchange programs, undergraduate initiatives in China and online education programs. Both parties expressed their keen interest in exploring ways to advance education missions together.
 
Dean Guthrie, a world-renowned Chinese expert, introduced the school’s strategic vision in Chinaand expressed his interest in understanding more about the history and educational engagements of JBIEDU both in China and in the States. Dean Guthrie agreed to further discuss the potential opportunities with senior management of JBIEDU in the near future.  Regarding Dean Guthrie upcoming July visit to China, JBIEDU executives extended an official invitation to Dean Guthrie to visit corporate headquarter in Beijing.
 
Besides the strategic plan for the future, JBIEDU is also working closely with Dr. ShyamGiridharadas’ executive education office to design a customized project management program for Chinese industry executives. The program will be taught by senior industry experts and prestigious professor at George Washington Business School. The Business School has submitted the program proposal to JBIEDU and now the partnership has move to the next stage.
