Washington DC- On May 26, 2011, The Honorable Andy Karsner, formerly Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the US Department of Energy, met with senior executives of Beida Jade Bird at our Washington, DC headquarters. Mr. Karsner has a deep experience in working in China, having earned a MasterDegree from Hong Kong University and many years working closely with senior Chinese government and business leaders. He currently is the President of his own company, serves on high level corporate boards, and is a corporate advisor and well-known public speaker. The topics during the meeting focused on green energy innovation, commercial and educational opportunities to be gained by pursuing closer relations between the United States and China.
